Washington Capital Management manages separate balanced portfolios for qualified individuals, endowments, and foundations.

Applying the classic value strategy, we believe opportunities for investment action present themselves when prices are pushed to the limit of over- or undervaluation. We feel a balance of equity and fixed income securities provides clients with a return advantage while seeking to minimize downside risk.

Engaging the expertise of WCMís entire investment team, the portfolio managers actively manage individual portfolios keeping in mind specific client return objectives, risk tolerances and tax status. Our process is focused on the purchase of securities at attractive prices and the sale of investments which have moved to the mid to high end of historical ranges. The intent is to be opportunistic and flexible, allowing the manager to rotate out of investments which we believe have been exploited by the market and into investments with attractive risk/reward characteristics. Eligible securities include stocks, exchange traded funds (ETFs), closed-end funds, corporate bonds and municipal bonds.
