Paul Ravetta - Vice President, Director of Marketing & Client Relations

Paul Ravetta

Paul joined WCM in 2007 with responsibility for client service and business development. In October 2015, Paul became Director of Marketing. He has 18 years of marketing, sales, and client service experience in institutional investment management. Prior to joining WCM, Paul was the director of marketing for Pugh Capital Management. His previous experience includes marketing and sales roles for several institutional investment firms and co-founding a technology firm.

Outside of the firm, Paul chairs the Endowment Committee for First Place, a non-profit serving families in crisis. His past service includes coaching youth soccer and serving on the Magnolia Soccer Club Board.

Paul holds an MA and BA in communication arts from the University of Cincinnati. Close Bio

Brian B. Welch, MBA - Vice Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations

Brian Welch

Brian Welch joined Washington Capital Management in 2013 with over ten years’ experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, financing, and asset management. In January 2017, Brian moved to WCM's client service team. Prior to joining WCM, Brian worked in a variety of roles and markets throughout the country for Odyssey Real Estate Capital, Centra Properties, and the Archon Group. He holds an MBA from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University. Close Bio

Randy Goodwin - Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations

Randy Goodwin

Randy Goodwin was recruited to join WCM in 1998 as Vice President of Client Relations, focusing on the firm’s existing Taft-Hartley client base and in the development of additional client relationships. Included in his responsibilities is attendance at board of trustees meetings, educational conferences, and industry-related conventions.

Randy received his degree in business administration from Washington State University in 1980. He also has his Series 65 designation. Randy began his career in 1980 working in the field of third party administration for two large regionally based TPAs. A broad base of experience, with a focus on Taft-Hartley, was developed. He was an appointed officer on the Northwest Association of Administrators Board. After 10 years with one TPA, Randy moved to another large Seattle based Taft-Hartley TPA as an Account Executive until 1994.

In 1994, Randy opened a Seattle office for a West Coast health and actuarial consulting firm with a Taft-Hartley focus. He worked in plan design modeling, evaluation of TPAs, comparison studies of competing plans, actuarial reporting, and client development.

Randy is currently a Principal and a director on the board at Washington Capital Management and a board director on Green Canopy Homes, a Seattle based start up company.

Randy enjoys golf, tennis, his wife, two daughters, and Ocicat. Randy and his wife landscape on weekends. He is the social director for Washington Capital’s group activities, planned throughout the year. These have proved beneficial in employee morale, camaraderie, and a company-wide focus to service our clients and grow the firm assets under management. Close Bio

Robyn Grad - Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations

Robyn Grad

Robyn joined Washington Capital Management with over 35 years of experience in the investment industry. She was previously in Institutional Fixed Income sales with Cantor Fitzgerald and Merrill Lynch. A graduate of the University of Washington with a B.A. in Business Administration, she is active in the community. Robyn currently serves on the finance and investment committee of the Seattle Academy of Arts & Sciences and is a member of the Seattle Art Museum Supporters and the Washington Women's Foundation. She has also been an active volunteer with Junior League, Centrum, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Seattle Country Day School and is an avid supporter of the National Parks Conservation Association. Chuck Maki - Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations

Chuck Maki

Chuck Maki is an investment professional having entered the brokerage industry in 1969 and completing his career with Merrill Lynch of 23 years as an institutional bond sales specialist in 1997. After a short retirement, he joined Washington Capital Management to represent the firm to high net worth individuals, retirement plans, foundations, and charitable institutions. He holds a B.A. degree from Washington State University in business administration. Close Bio

Thandi Clements - Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations

Thandi Clements

Thandi Clements joined WCM in September 2012 as Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations. Thandi will focus her efforts on new business development in the Taft Hartley and Public Sector markets. Included in Thandi’s responsibilities will be attendance at board of trustees meetings, industry related conferences, and servicing an existing client base.

Thandi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Letters, Arts, and Sciences from Pennsylvania State University and studied economics at Golden State University. Thandi left a long, very successful 19 years at a national insurance provider to enter the world of investment management services. Thandi was salesperson of the year for 2009 and has established a broad network of Taft Hartley labor and management contacts. Thandi has moved within multiple states and multiple markets to create and execute sales plans focused on generating new business revenue.

Thandi is an avid golfer who enjoys travel, both international and domestic, the arts and jazz. Thandi currently volunteers with Dress for Success in Portland, Oregon, and has volunteered at The First Tee of Portland and SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) and feels it is important to invest back in the community in which you live.
